About The Autor

Donna Sauer-Jones Book

Donna Sauer-Jones is a writer and artist with a BFA in painting and a lifelong love for creative storytelling. After having children, she shifted from painting to writing, finding joy in shaping stories filled with heart, family, and imagination.

Her work with teenagers and children as a therapist, her late husband’s experiences as a guide, and her own time spent in the Adirondack Park all helped inspire Leah and the Bears. Through Leah’s story, Donna brings together the outdoors, family bonds, personal growth, and the quiet beauty of a place she knows and loves.
